HISTORY OF CREEKWOOD
Creekwood Estate, built in the 1840s by Stephen Pace, II, spans over 100 acres in the serene countryside of East Alabama. The private property features beautiful lawns and a garden with hundreds of magnolia trees. The current house features original mantels, architraves, a staircase, and other beautiful woodwork. Creekwood Estate is the last Greek Revival-style building on the historic Old Federal Road in Macon and Russell Counties in Alabama, and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
